Who's Kasey Clark?

Russell has a history of not padding stats. In 04 we had a RB that rushed for 2302 yards on the same limited playing time. Very seldom ever played a series in the third quarter. Ivan will not leave people in when the game is at hand. If he would have left that young man in full games you could have bet he would have put up well over 4000 yards in 04.

Ivan was correct to do so also. There is no need to destroy an inferior team.

Sometimes adults who have experiene have a better understanding of just what is at stake.

I wish Estill's tailback sucess, but life isn't always fair. Russell will give the kid a wake up call. It isn't necessarily a bad thing, its just life.

Both teams, play hard. Everything else will get sorted out.

i don't need a wake-up call. i understand why he [the coach] does it; i'm just saying that it sucks...i've had it done to me before, and it really does hurt.

Just imagine what the scores would have been in some of the games if Josh would not have came out,, and now Kasey........ I think that RUSSELL could have been in the national rankings for most yards ina game, scores ina game, the young man from MATEWAN would have never come close to the yards these boys are capable of puttingup.. Here are some examples..

It is a system.......... next year it will be AJ Cordel at QB,,, then JONES moves to TB for his senior year. he gets the glory,,, David Bailey will be a juinior and he will be the other back along with Drew Abrams who will also be a junior next year...... SEE it is a system..... If a piece gets broke in the system you replace it with a LIKE piece.... It works the same..... You have to have heart to play football and if you have NO heart then you need to find another sport...... The system at Russell as the same at BELFRY.. this is a nother name you will hear....... the system operates on timing and togetherness, 11 members doing what they do best.. playing THEIR position..... It is hard to stop Kasey Clark,, it is even harder to stop Kasey when all cylinders are firing and the players are doing what they do.. you know what they call it when Russell is firing on all cylinders................. TOUCHDOWN !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kasey is number 24 and will be easy to pick out.... good luck tackling him.

Individual stats mean absolutely nothing!!!! All that matter is that the team wins!

That is exactly Ivan's philosophy. That is how Russell stays on the top of the heap. I'm sure it's the same with Belfry. When the game is in hand Haywood and McGlone start subbing. That gets the underclassmen valuable playing time some they can step in next year and not miss a beat. Great coaches think that way.
