It is a pretty cool story.

It makes me think though, would he have been as motivated to do his best had he been drafted?

it probably would depend on who drafted him. one of the things I took away from this story is when burfict was surrounded by influences like mike zimmer and other defensive leaders, he figured out the things he needed to do to take his game to the next level.
