Chargers 27 - Bengals 10
#1
Wow, that Chargers team is incredible! I swear I think they had Joe Montana, Roger Craig and Jerry Rice on Offense and the whole 85 Bears Defense! We were right there with them but just came up a bit short. I love this Bengals squad and know that because of their dominance of the AFC North for years to come, this Bengals team will be a regular in the Super Bowl!

Way to go MY BENGALS, way to let me still cheer during January when everyone else had no one to cheer for!

The last time the Bengals won a playoff game:
I was still in high school (I graduated in 1993)
Ben Roethlisberger was 8 y/o (Has lead the Steelers to 3 Super Bowls winning 2)
The Browns were 6 years from becoming the Ravens.
The Steelers have been to 4 Super Bowls, winning 2.
Joe Flacco was 5 y/o
The Ravens have won 2 Super Bowls
The Panthers, who did not exist in 1990, has been to the Super Bowl.
It must suck being a Bungal fan.

No, they had one more week than the Ravens and Steelers this year so they are awesome.

Where have the Bengal fans gone? Should we start a thread calling them out?

3 Straight Playoffs!!! Is something to bragg about when you are a Bengals Fan!

I still remember the seasons we use to have! 14 Losing Seasons 1991-2004

Mark my words THE BENGALS ARE THE FUTURE OF THE AFC NORTH!!!

Don't worry Bengal fans, at least you guys made the playoffs. Dallas has played themselves out of the playoffs in week 17 for 3 straight years now.

I've mourned long enough Confusednicker:. Very disappointing ending to a good 11-5 season.

The Chargers wanted it more, were loose, fired up and had nothing to lose. They controlled the offensive and defensive lines.

Not sure why Gruden left the run so quickly. We were picking up 5-7 yd chunks and here we go lets pass with a QB who didn't show up to play this game ( Mr. Jeckyl & Hide ). Also hats off to the Chargers D coordinator who game planned very well for Dalton and Gruden. You can only hide so much before good coaching exposes the reality of a QB strengths and weaknesses.

The down side is Dalton isn't going anywhere which I'm ok with as long as he works his arse off in the offseason to get better. Not sure he did so well from last season to this one. The North was down this season, the Bengals did what they should have done and won it.

Yet when it comes to attacking opposing teams weaknesses and utilizing your strengths, that comes down to COACHING.

Not so sure the Browns will cut a big check after dismissing Lewis for a Cowher or Chuckie Gruden. Cincinnati wants a no nonsense, proven Super Bowl winner to get the Bengals over the hump. The organization is making bank with things just the way they are.

A lot of folks would love to change places with us. We have had three winning consecutive seasons which is a far cry from the Shula-Coslett-LeBeaus debacles, however, people are pissed off. AND I LIKE IT, mediocrity and poor performance isn't being accepted like it used to be.

I predict Dalton and Lewis will sit pat. The public outcry will fade. I do hope that the Brown/Blackburn mafia takes note and realizes that the Daltons-Grudens-Lewis' of the franchise better work hard in the off season to improve upon this season. In 2014 I'd take 10-6 ( even 9-7 ), second place in the North, Wildcard birth and if we won 1-2 playoff games. I'd be ecstatic.

That's the next step. We need to WIN IN THE PLAYOFFS.

sidenote: I enjoyed watching good games minus the Ravens and Steelers playing this past weekend. And Gut your avatar selection continues to impress Confusednicker:.

Dallas has everything they need besides QB. I know they hate dez, but he's the real deal. Good d and rbs. Get a decent QB and Dallas is on the map.

Bengals have the longest streak without a playoff win in the NFL. Is 1991 correct?

Not when you lose all three games.
The Bungles are not the future of the AFC North. The Steelers and Ravens will right the ship and dominate the division once again.
