I heard that Coach Howell was no longer coaching at Tates Creek, though I don't know for sure but I do believe he is still a teacher at Tates Creek. Coach Howell is a good coach IMO esp. baseball and hopefully he will decide to get back in the coaching ranks if he is not coaching right now.

You're right, he is a great coach-- both sports. He was also one of Pikeville's best ever first baseman.... no one could touch him when it comes to fielding.... Last I heard, he is still coaching at Tates Creek.... Good Luck to him.... he deserves all of the accolades he gets!
