Paintsville Little League TWO State Champs!!!

This past week the Paintsville Little League had State Champs in TWO different age groups.

The 9/10 yr Olds won their State Campionship at Stone Crest!

The JR League (13/14 Yr olds) won their State Championship in Oldham Co!

The 9/10s season is complete now as that is as far as that age group can advance.

The Junior League Baseball State Championship was decided Thursday as Paintsville defeated North Oldham 5-3. A four run fourth inning helped Paintsville win the 2013 Junior League Baseball State Championship beating North Oldham 5-3. For Paintsville, Ben Daniels had a double. Reese Ison had two hits. Ethan Osbourne had 9 strikeouts allowing just three hits in getting the win. For North Oldham, Grant larimore had two hits. Zack Nicholas and Jackson Mason had base hits.

The JR League Team now advances to the Regionals in Ft. Wayne, IN next weekend. The Tourny runs Aug 3 thru Aug 10!


Big Congrats to BOTH Teams and Good Luck next week to our JR League in Ft. Wayne!!!!
