'Bash mobs' sweep through Southern California
#1
What is missing from this story is that the participants in flash mobs and bash mobs are overwhelmingly members of one particular race. The problem has been much more widespread than this article acknowledges and despite the racial components of these attacks, neither our Justice Department nor our Golfer-in-Chief have done anything to start a "national discussion" on black racism directed at "whitey." As long as black rage produces white victims, our federal government and national government see no problem. Let the roles of the races be reversed in even a single instance, and Obama would be addressing us about another "national tragedy."

Quote:'Bash mobs' sweep through Southern California

Organized "bash mob" crime rampages of roving groups attacking innocent people and businesses have been striking cities around the United States. Law enforcement agencies in Southern California have reported few similar problems -- until now.

In the last several days, there have been several reports of such group crime waves in South L.A., Hollywood, San Bernardino and Victorville. Long Beach police are bracing for another one Friday.

These so-called bash mobs of "flash mob" crime waves are organized through social media and have been a problem in Chicago, Philadelphia and Washington. In April, 28 Chicago youths were arrested on suspicion of attacking pedestrians along the city's famed Magnificent Mile. Illinois Gov. Pat Quinn signed legislation in May enacting stiffer penalties for people who text or use social media to organize mob attacks.

Long Beach police warned in a statement that participants could face severe penalties.

"The mere participation in such an event can result in felony charges including conspiracy, and are punishable by imprisonment in the state prison," according to the statement.

Police said they feared bash mob organizers planned to hit Long Beach at 2 p.m.

You sure wouldnt see that in Corbin.

It is a safe assumption that all the rioters are either black or black sympathizers. However, we will never get the full story of the lawlessness from the media- actually even Fox will exercise censorship.

If blacks want to be treated "equally", it would be helpful if they acted in a civilized manner. Civilized people don't always look for an excuse to rob, burn, loot, and destroy. And, of course "equally" does not mean that whites are required to cater to blacks.

You earn respect and with respect usually comes equality. You can't demand respect by expecting special treatment. Possibly they should begin by earning a little respect.

When do these thugs realize that it doesnt effect the people on the opposite sides of there views?
They show there intellectual promise by destroying there own neighborhoods, towns, and cities, while the rest of the country laughs at them.

You are correct, RunItUpTheGut. However, if you watch any of the cable news channels other than Fox you will be led to believe that conservatives and whites are the aggressors and that they are making all the inflammatory and racist remarks. They keep telling us that Obama and the blacks merely want a dialogue about race relations but that Fox, conservatives, and whites are only interested in division.

I would say that dialogue is a waste of time. I would say that dialogue is only needed when those equality something prove to others by their actions that they are deserving of equality. Simple words are meaningless and a complete waste. And, above all, I'd like to see a definition of what they me3an by "equality". It does not include the crutches of special treatment, quotas, and affirmative action.

When black leaders begin stressing personal and collective responsibility instead of personal and collective rights, they will deserve our attention. Until that time, they should be ignored.

The idea that the president would come on national TV and give credence to the idea that there is any significant divide between whites and blacks is reprehensible. This country has spent the last five decades making amends for the civil rights violations of the past, and I would have thought by now those ghosts would have been long gone. But no, our leader gets up and through subversion, which has literally been created out of nothing by Al Sharpton, Jessie Jackson, and more recently Illinois Congressman Bobby Rush and other race zealots, to distract attention away from the scandals presently besetting the white house.

When the president declares Trayvon was him 30 years ago, and he understands why black people are upset, he brings undeserved shame on society in general and undermines our system of justice. The only crooked thing about that trial was the fact that they tried to hang an innocent man. The prosecution and the defense both took their best shots and the jury acquitted Zimmerman, the end.

The world's perception of our society has been slimed in no small way since 2008. I say we as a people are in free fall. Compromise has eroded our way of life and according to everything I hear from this administration, they're just getting started. The only hope we have is if Republicans can maintain a clear view of their responsibility to both the country, their constituents and manage hold out until 2014 when we can vote them in some reinforcements. So far, this 'fundamental changing or America' is every bit the nightmare I feared it would be.

Nobody channels the Rev. Al better than you, RV. You have nailed his semi-literate, racist, semi-conscious rants. If he could find another two million viewers like you for his TV show, then he would have about 2 million (rounded) viewers. :biglmao:
