Ill go ahead predict The Heat will repeat. But I wanted to see if anyone sees the West contending? I know the Spurs are old but they look good. Injuries have also killed a lot of teams this season. Thoughts?

It's the Heat's to lose. I'm curious to what the long layoff will do to them. Last year they were in a similar situation. The layoff resulted in rust against a very cagey Pacers team.

I'd love to see the Spurs get into the Finals, but I see Durant catching fire and leading the Thunder into the finals. The Spurs would give the Heat fits with the match-up challenges.

I really liked the way the Knicks have been playing and they have an elite player in Carmelo that can will them through some games if needed.

I think the Knicks will take them to 6 or 7 games...
but they are the only team in the East I see competing with them.
