2014 UK Football Recruiting
UK offered 4* LB Dwight Williams from Gardena, CA (Junipero Serra), tonight. Williams has offers from Arizona, Arizona State, Boise State, California, Clemson, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Houston, LA Lafayette, Miami(FL), Michigan, Michigan State, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Oregon State, Tennessee, Texas Tech, UCLA, Utah, Washington, & Washington State. He also has interest from Alabama, Cincinnati, Ohio State, Oregon, South Carolina, & USC. Williams comes in on the Rivals rankings at 101.

The Blue Blur Wrote:4* WR Thaddeus Snodgrass from Springfield, OH will be on campus tomorrow morning. Likely will be at the basketball game.

Richardson & Snodgrass aren't alone on campus today. TE Ethan Wolf, LB Dorian Hendrix, WR Derek Kief, & DB Darius West are visiting as well. Also visiting is 2013 preferred walk-on Cameron Fogle.
The Blue Blur Wrote:Richardson & Snodgrass aren't alone on campus today. TE Ethan Wolf, LB Dorian Hendrix, WR Derek Kief, & DB Darius West are visiting as well. Also visiting is 2013 preferred walk-on Cameron Fogle.
I thought Kief was at Northwestern this weekend?
Blue Chrome Wrote:I thought Kief was at Northwestern this weekend?

You are correct Kief was at NW. Sources had said that he would be at UK today, but he was not. Nor was West or Hendrix. Early reports have a way of being wrong sometimes especially with unofficial visits. They don't count against the guys so they seem to just go where the wind blows. Here is who was present from what I gather.

2013 4* DE Jason Hatcher
2013 Preferred Walk-On Cameron Fogle
2014 4* OL Nick Richardson
2014 4* WR Thaddeus Snodgrass
2014 TE Ethan Wolf
2015 OL Rob Dowdy
TE target Ethan Wolf from Minster, OH was not on campus yesterday but will return April 1st. Apparently the staff refrained from bringing in too many recruits, like originally planned so they could focus on 4* 2014 targets WR Thaddeus Snoddgrass & OL Nick Richardson.

Snoddgrass, who visited during the Missouri game has been telling people he was a good luck charm. Seems to be working.

Nick Richardson visited with his parents & his mother is a Women's DIII basketball coach so I'm sure she can appreciate a good basketball atmosphere.

Huber Heights, OH LB Dorian Hendrix was also expected to visit but he did not. He's expected back within the next couple of weekends.

Speaking of visitors, Nebraska transfer-to-be RB Braylon Heard is expected to visit not next weekend but the following one. This will come after official visits to Pitt & WVU. He may not visit Louisville as one of his 5 official visits before making a decision. Still hearing his likely destination is UK. (I will continue to talk about Heard hear along with the 2014 news as his recruitment will be intertwined within 2014's recruiting.)

4* RB Mikel Horton spoke to UK's staff while he was visiting Louisville. Seems like a good sign & he's expected to trim his list soon. UK's staff is still confident in their position with him.

Also visiting Louisville was John Hardin DT Matt Elam. His visit reportedly went very well, he picked up an offer from them last week. He is to return to UK for the spring game & has planned to visit one of Louisville's spring practices. He is also expected to visit Florida sometime this spring but UK's staff still feel confident in Elam's recruitment.

Virginia commit DT Chris Nelson is expected to visit UK & Louisville soon but nothing has been set yet.

With the spring game a month away, it's looking like it's a huge crowd will be on hand. UK's staff has planned a Junior Day to coincide with the spring game. Among those visiting are West Gadsden (FL) DT Gary Brown, Our Lady of Good Counsel (MD) safety Kobie Walker, Princeton (OH) QB/ATH Tyrell Gilbert, Jackson (AL) LB Gavin Bryant & QB/ATH Matthew Jordan have all confirmed their presence. Many more will be named as many have said they will likely and/or possibly be in attendance. These 5 have confirmed with UK's staff they will be there.

Next weekend is Rivals Camp in Cincinnati, OH. Many UK targets will be in attendance, so it should be interesting to see how they grade out.
Along with Tyrell Gilbert the Cincinnati kids are all anticipated in participating in the Junior Day for the spring game. From the 2014 class LaSalle 4* WR Derek Kief, West Chester 4* RB Mikel Horton, Winton Woods DB Mike Edwards & 2015 Colerain TE/OL George Brown are expected but it's not been confirmed through the UK staff yet.
Defensive End

Denzel Ware - Committed; Will likely take official visits. Long way from over but great to have him on board.
Dante Sawyer
- Just picked up LSU offer; has had UK in top five. Coach was Lex Cath coach. Visited earlier this year.
Joe Henderson - Couple of sources at UK have told me not to count the Cats out; quietly optimistic. Want him to visit soon.
KeShun Freeman
- Great kid, great motor, good athlete. Kind of kid that will look at Stanford. Wants to visit UK.
Lorenzo Carter - Narrowing list this summer; maybe nation's 2nd-best defensive end (after Da'Shawn Hand)
Keyon Brown
- Georgia is in good shape early, I'm hearing.
Justin Thornton - Florida, FSU, USC (West) and Auburn lead.
Andrew Williams
- USC, Florida, FSU, Ohio State, Clemson in good shape.
Tymere Dubose - UK was first big offer, Youngstown (Ohio) kid. Is going to blow up and knows it; taking his time.Trent Harris - One of nation's fastest-rising prospects, just got Alabama.

Outlook: Keeping Ware on board is top priority. He's a smaller, explosive rush end so you want to complement him with some size. Of the above I think UK has the best shot with Henderson, Dubose and then Sawyer and Freeman.

Defensive Tackle

Matt Elam - Obviously UK's top priority at DT and top priority in-state after Barker. Feel good about Cats' chances.
Anthony Moten - One of nation's best, will visit Arkansas, South Carolina, etc., with teammates.
Chris Nelson
- Told me his commitment to UVa is "shaky", wants to see Cavs win more. Visiting UCF this month, UK and UofL later.
Jamyius Pittman - Likely to blow up, not sure why he doesn't have more offers. Has UK, Florida, Ole Miss.
Caleb Samuel - Been quiet lately, UK has a shot.
Michael Sawyers
- Attended GT junior day over weekend, picking up steam. Likely to visit Ole Miss, Duke, Arkansas among others.
Chris Williams
- Ohio State, Ole Miss, Texas A&M lead.

Outlook: Elam is the top priority. If UVa fades again this year Cats could be in good shape with Nelson. Of the others above I would guess Samuel, Pittman and Sawyers are the guys UK has a legitimate chance to be in the conversation for. The others are long shots, probably. The good thing about the defensive line period is how well it was addressed last year. Still really want to add that huge body inside like Elam.

Linebacker

Dorian Hendrix - Familiar with UK, has visited. The thinking is UK leads, potential early decision candidate.
T.J. Posey - Alabama kid who visited for first junior day; really liked it, wants to see what else is coming.
Delvin Purifoy
- FSU commit, would be near the top of the wish list. Would guess Kentucky is second behind Noles.
Gavin Bryant
- Another Alabama kid, teammates with Matt Jordan, dual-threat/athlete UK likes. Alabama leads, recently visited South Carolina. Likely to attend UK spring game.
Tyrell Tomlin - Georgia LB UK could make a legit impression on. Likes Tennessee, UNC and a couple others.
Deshaun Davis
- Yet another Alabama kid, likes Florida State a lot and UK recruits that area well.
Andrew Beck - Deciding in July, UK wants him to visit soon. UK likes him a lot, really impressive player. Likes Stanford.
Dwight Williams
- Big long shot, California kid everyone's offering.
Demarquis Gates
- UK has a shot here, covets UGA offer.
Bryson Allen-Williams - Great hybrid guy, told me recently he hasn't spoken to UK lately.
Shaun Dion Hamilton
- Just visited Tennessee. Leaders are Bama, Auburn, Clemson, UF, UCLA and USC.
Jake Pugh
- Great getting him to visit. Would guess Bama leads but then UK and UNC right after that.
Nico Firios
- Florida kid UK has a great shot with, really likes UK.Frankie Hernandez - UK may well be early leader, will have to see how more offers change that. Teammate, Jarvis Stewart, has offer too.

Outlook: UK has offered a ton of very talented kids here. Would imagine they are in the best shape with Hendrix, Posey, Bryant, Firios and Hernandez, but just my guess.

Cornerback

Wesley Green - Too early for me to gauge interest, probably a long shot.
D.J. Smith - Not able to gauge interest, haven't heard much from/about him.
Kalvaraz Bessent - Alabama leads.
Step Durham - Likes Vandy, Ole Miss and Georgia Tech.
Kendall Randolph - Told me recently the communication is picking up with UK.
De'Eric Culver - Really liked UK visit, likely to return. Has really blown up, just got South Carolina offer. Visiting tons of schools.
Nicholas Ruffin - UGA working hard to keep him in-state, no favorites. UK contact picking back up.
Jermaine Roberts - Texas, Alabama, A&M, OU, Oklahoma State lead.
Stephen Roberts - Just picked up GT offer, visiting Vanderbilt this month.
Malkom Parrish - Georgia probably leads.

Outlook: May see UK start to look at that 'next' tier as some of the guys above could be long-shots. Then again, this staff has proven me wrong before. Think UK has a chance with Culver. Not sure about the others.

Safety

Jamal Adams - Obviously has UK ties but a long shot.
Nick Glass - UGA commit.
Cortez McDowell - Really an OLB in college, has blown up. Wants to visit OSU and Michigan State, could hit UK on that trip.
Deion Singleton - Liked UK trip, wants to visit UNC and others.
Darius West - UK leads or is very close to the top.
Allen Artis - Just visited Clemson, ground to make up.
Mike Edwards - UK is very close to the top.
Daejuan Funderburk - Visiting UNC, Georgia Tech, WVU and FSU this spring/summer. Leaders are FSU, Wisconsin, Maryland, WVU and South Carolina.
Khalia Hackett - Another S/LB hybrid. UK was first offer. Cats have a chance.
Rashaan Gaulden - Could well visit UK soon.
Kendall Gant - New offers pouring in, waiting til the dust clears.
Kobie Walker - UK has a chance here. Not easy to recruit D.C. without ties/history of recruiting the area but Cats in the mix.
Darrion Owens - Guy I think Cats have a good chance with.
Jared Tucker - Don't know much about him yet, do know he likes South Carolina.

Outlook: UK has been very active offering safeties. Some are really LB's (like Hackett, McDowell). Think UK feels GREAT about West, and good about Walker, Gaulden, Hackett and Edwards.
Winton Woods DB Mike Edwards has said he talked with his mother about committing & he feels that it won't be too far before he does so. That bolds well for UK as they are one of only a few schools he's visited. The other one I'm aware of is Cincinnati.

Shortly after Edwards tweeted this out, 2015 Colerain OL/TE George Brown tweeted out group meeting while tagging Mike Edwards, LaSalle's Derek Kief, West Chester's Mikel Horton, & Princeton's Tyrell Gilbert.

Could the chips start to fall??

UK finds themselve in the company of Ohio State, Florida State, Florida, & Miami(FL) in the Top 5 of Gainesville, FL 4* RB Tony James. James is a speed back that UK likes greatly.

http://rivals.yahoo.com/footballrecruiti...mes-128324
Kingsland, GA (Camden County) 4* CB Kalvaraz Bessent will make his committment decision tonight. He has offers from Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Georgia Tech, UK, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, UNC, Ohio State, & Tennessee.

http://rivals.yahoo.com/footballrecruiti...ent-145536
^Committed to Bama
4* Conner QB Drew Barker has been invited to play in the US Army All-American game. He's likely to accept & as you know the USAAA Bowl is the McDonald's All-American game of football as it's the premier All-Star game. So whoever Barker commits to in April, gets a year of publicity because of him. That would be huge for UK.

4* Denzel Ware DE commit has no doubt left the door open to be recruited by other schools. However UK still feels they can keep him. Florida State already has a commitment from DE Blake McClain but they would like to add another DE. Likely to be Lorenzo Carter or Kentavious Street. They are still keeping the lines open with Ware, but seems other schools are getting involved at this point. Florida & Georgia are to keep an eye on. Ware has said that he would be very interested in Alabama, because of the way they use their ends. It's doubtful that Bama' recruits him for anything other than an OLB & that seems unlikely as well. So it seems the Tide may be his dream school, possibly exposure was why he moved from Florida from Alabama.

4* TE Bryce Dixon from Ventura, CA (St. Bonaventure) has picked up an offer from UK. He also has offers from Arizona, California, Colorado, Miami(FL), Ohio State, Texas A&M, UCLA, Vandy, & Washington. He has interest from Arizona State, Florida, Michigan, Oregon, Tennessee, & USC. Sources close to Dixon will likely be a Bruin.

http://rivals.yahoo.com/ncaa/football/re...xon-143553

UK also has an offer out to 4* LB Dwight Williams from Gardena, CA. It's highly unlikely UK has a shot at him either, but it's good to see UK trying their hand & casting a net across the country.

Florida LB Nico Firios has UK atop his list along with Rutgers & USF, sources say.

North Carolina WR Braxton Berrios picked up a big offer from Clemson. Being from the Carolinas, South Carolina & UNC are also schools to keep an eye on.

The publisher of the Nebraska Rivals has said the conditional restraints were originally placed on Braylon Heard's transfer release, have now been lifted. He can come the UK if he'd like. He's visiting Pitt, WVU, Louisville, & Ohio State next week. UK is now officially in the running.

Apparently, Bath County QB Clark Kissick has accepted a preferred walk-on spot at UK.

http://rivals.yahoo.com/ncaa/football/re...ick-129562

The four or five pieces of big news, that have been foreshadowed UK still feels good about them. However, a time range in which they will occur may have changed & it is not solid when it will come about. Couple of the guys have decided to wait until summer to commit. UK may get other commitments between now & this summer. It is likely the UK recruiting news really heats up in June, July, & August.
You good Blur? Just checking in...not used to four consecutive days without a report.

Maybe you're on spring break. Have fun and avoid bs whatever you got going on.

Thanks for checking. Just been a little under the weather & busy. Honestly, there's not been much new news on the football recruiting front. Leading up to spring ball, we were enamored with a hardwood win over Florida & bad losses to Vandy & Robert Morris. There have been few newsworthy nuggets over the last couple of weeks. Nothing like that had been pouring the last few months. Hopefully I'll get around to giving you an update, soon.
Bowling Green WR Nacarius Fant said this morning he will be visiting & involved on April 13th with UK's Spring Game/Junior Day. Many have felt that the staff was overlooking some of the in state guys, particularly Fant but this shows they aren't really.

McKinnley, TX WR T.V. Williams is to also visit for the Spring Game/Junior Day. He had high praise for Neal Brown & his offense. Last summer Williams camped at Texas Tech & sent film to UK. Once the staff got settled & got to the film, the offer came out. UK has a realistic shot at Williams, as distance doesn't seem to be a factor which isn't an often case with Texas kids.

UK has offered Deerfield Beach, FL ATH Brandon Powell. He's a versatile athlete that could end up at RB or WR in the slot. However, one SEC school likes him at CB. His recruitment is right now open & he doesn't have a favorite. He's set to graduate & in December. More on him will come out after this weekend when Rivals Camp Series hit the Miami area. Powel has offers from California, Cincinnati, Indiana, LSU, Marshall, UMASS, Nebraska, Northwestern, Purdue, Syracuse, Tennessee, WVU, Western Michigan, & Wisconsin. He's also received interest Florida, FSU, Louisville, & UCF.

http://rivals.yahoo.com/footballrecruiti...ell-138396

Ohio TE Darryl Long has committed to being at UK for the Spring Game/Junior Day. Fellow Ohio TE Ethan Wolf will be visiting April 1st.

Staying with TE's, California TE Bryce Dixon has informed the UK staff that his interest is mutual & genuine. He's more of a pass catching, possession TE than any type of blocker. If he stays with his interest long enough to see UK whipping it around the field, UK will gain some ground. Right now UCLA has a strong lead, but he also likes the SEC.

Stone Mountain, GA (Stephenson) safety Jared Tucker is up to 10 offers including UK, which the old staff offer. He attended UK's win over Tennessee back in 2011 but said he hasn't heard from anyone at UK in awhile. He said he would be very interested in UK. However, he's deciding in June so there's no time to waste. He has offers from Florida, Indiana, Louisville, Ole Miss, South Carolina, USF, Tennessee & Vandy as well as interest from Georgia Tech.

http://rivals.yahoo.com/ncaa/football/re...ker-138817

Cincinnati LaSalle 4* WR Derek Kief will visit Alabama this weekend, Ohio State the following weekend & then UK sometime after. All are pivotal trips in his recruitment.

Miami, FL (Booker T. Washington) 4* CB Nigel Patten picked up an offer from UK & the staff let him know he could be a starter early on in his time at UK. Patten also has offers from Florida State, Indiana, Marshall, Miami(FL), Ole Miss, & Tennessee.

http://rivals.yahoo.com/ncaa/football/re...ten-141674

UK also offered Jacksonville, FL (Trinity Christian) WR Isaiah Ford. Despite being considered a heavy FSU lean, he has said his recruitment is wide open. He and his high school are setting up visits soon & UK could be a likely destination. He also has offers from Cincinnati, Clemson, Florida, FIU, Georgia Tech, Louisville, Maryland, UNC, Ohio State, Penn State, Purdue, South Carolina, Texas Tech, UCF, Vandy, Virginia Tech, & WVU. He has interest from Iowa State & Alabama but no offer yet.

http://rivals.yahoo.com/ncaa/football/re...ord-137373
UK is apparently in the Top 3 for Ohio 4* safety Darius West. It's unsure who the other two are but UK's staff feels confident with West.

UK's staff also feels very, very confident about Wayne, OH (Huber Heights) LB Dorian Hendrix.

Opp, AL LB Tavise Stoudemire is still in contact with UK but he's hard to get a read on. The teammate & cousin of UK commit 4* DE Denzil Ware doesn't have much interest from any other school, so I'd imagine UK is in good position for him.

Beaver Falls, PA (Blackhawk) Pitt commit QB Chandler Kincade will visit both, UK & Louisville. Though it's not exactly clear when this will take place but I'd say soon. Don't push the panic button on Drew Barker, as it appears Kincade has reached out to UK for the visit. He doesn't hold an offer from Louisville or UK. He also has offers from Bowling Green, Rutgers & Temple. As well as interest from Alabama, Tennessee, Michigan, Michigan State, Notre Dame, Ohio State, & Penn State.

http://rivals.yahoo.com/ncaa/football/re...ade-126041
UK has offered Blackshear, GA (Pierce County) QB Tyler Harris. He also has offers from Alabama & Mississippi State. He has garnered interest from Florida, Florida State, Georgia, & South Carolina.

http://rivals.yahoo.com/ncaa/football/re...ris-139280

Don't press the Drew Barker panic button here either. It's obviously a conditional offer & Barker is still a plan A option. He is concerned about it too, & has been watching UK's every move which means good news for UK. Seems to just be an insurance policy.

Dorian Hendrix & Thaddeus Snodgrass will be visiting UK this weekend.
Also visiting this weekend is Nebraska transfer RB Braylon Heard.

Dorian Hendrix has committed to the Cats!!! The second piece to fall for the 2014 class. Thaddeus Snodgrass is also in Lexington with him & they appear to have a good relationship. Snodgrass has frequented in Lexington over the past two months & his decision was expected by the end of March. He may pull the trigger as well.

2015 teammates at St. Christopher's in Richmond, VA OLB Ricky DeBerry & CB Garrett Taylor may be visiting as well. DeBerry set is all set to visit Lexington this weekend & Taylor may come along.

DeBerry has offers from Clemson, East Carolina, Iowa, UNC, Penn State, Purdue, Tennessee, Virginia, & Virginia Tech. He is also on the cusp of an offer from Alabama, & may pick up that offer when he's to visit Tuscaloosa on April 20th. However, DeBerry doesn't have an offer from UK but may pick one up this weekend. DeBerry is the type of kid that doesn't just want to play at the biggest school but one where he will play & the coaches have his best interest at hand.

http://rivals.yahoo.com/ncaa/football/re...2.T55IPZB4

Taylor has a similarly impressive list as he has offers from Iowa, Ole Miss, UNC, Penn State, Tennessee, Virginia, & Virginia Tech as well as UK. He's also garnered interest from Maryland. Taylor seems to be a guy that wants to play in the SEC.

http://rivals.yahoo.com/ncaa/football/re...lor-145497

Since Taylor already has an offer from UK, it makes sense that he would tag along with DeBerry. As you can see, these guys have a lot of mutual offers from the same schools. Don't be surprised if they are a package deal.
Keep up the good work blur..
Rivals reporting that DeBerry has an offer.
247 Sports reporting that Kendarius Webster just got offered. Does it seem like they're going after a lot of DBs?

Blue Chrome Wrote:247 Sports reporting that Kendarius Webster just got offered. Does it seem like they're going after a lot of DBs?

http://wildcatrecruits.com/playerProfile...us-Webster

They're just throwing out offers right now. They currently have offered 116 2014 recruits & 9 2015 prospects, knowing they'll only get approximately a fourth of that number per recruiting class. A lot changes over the year, kids commit, decommit, recommit, don't perform well, have injuries etc. Some of those recruits are Top Tier recruits in all likelihood will not even visit UK but commit to schools like Alabama. I'm glad to see them stick there nose in there & making an effort. Joker & staff wouldn't even try, he'd target 25 legit recruits that we had a shot & offer 25 guys we really didn't. Not to mention, DB is a vague term describing 4-5 different positions. You got corners, free safeties, strong safeties, & some kids that will wind up at LB but listed at DB on recruiting sites. So to offer more DB's compared to other positions only makes sense.
I'm going to say what I've never said before. I have a man crush on Blur :theman:
TigerBlues Wrote:I'm going to say what I've never said before. I have a man crush on Blur :theman:
Um what for?? For the first time ever on BGR, I feel a little uncomfortable. I don't know whether to be offended, concerned or like your comment.:biglmao:

Braylon Heard visited UK this weekend & the visit went well. It's kind of tight lipped with him right now as he has a few more visits planned & 3 more weeks of class at Nebraska. Most think Lexington is still his likely destination.

Bowling Green WR Nacarius Fant has confirmed he will be visiting for the Spring Game/Junior Day. He's currently anticipating an offer & feels optimistic it will happen soon from what the staff has told him. I didn't expect them to do so, so quickly. In state schools are more reluctant to offer this early, because if something was to happen & they go in a different direction.

North Hardin DT Matt Elam visited Louisville over the weekend, & it appears they may be much more of a player than thought before. However, UK still sits atop his list. He is planning a return visit to Alabama soon. He also plans to visit a UK practice & the spring game.

In case you haven't caught wind of it, UK sent Conner QB Drew Barker 115 hand written letters in the mail earlier this week. Apparently this is common practice at the "Big Schools" for their main targets. I guess Stoops is turning the tides of us to a big school. He visited Tennessee over the weekend & it appears they are gaining ground as much as Ohio State is slipping. The Buckeyes hosted 4* Virginia QB Caleb Henderson over the weekend.

As many already know 2014 LB Dorian Hendrix was on campus this weekend & pulled the trigger to become the 2nd 2014 commitment. He is quick, fast, & versatile with a 4.5 40 yard dash time. He also is weighing in at 220+ lbs. compared to the 215 lbs. he's listed as.

Hendrix was accompanied on campus by 2014 4* WR Thaddeus Snodgrass. Snodgrass has visited Lexington frequently over the last month & it was believed Snodgrass would commit this month sometimes. Justin Rowland of Rivals has said that there are 2 official commitments to UK but there are actually 3. I believe the other is Snodgrass but it could be someone else. Snodgrass also had another good visit to UK this weekend & the staff still feel like they are in good shape.

UK's first commit of the 2014 class, 4* DE Denzil Ware is taking other visits & exploring options but don't be alarmed. He's doing what all high school kids should do. So don't take any bit of news surrounding him you hear in coming months to heart.

Richmond, VA 2015 LB Ricky DeBerry was also on campus this weekend & picked up an offer. He watched practice Friday & said he like the intensity as well as the atmosphere surrounding the program. He had high praise for the coaching & said he would make a return visit down the road.

Beavercreek, OH 2014 3* MLB Airius Moore is expected to Wednesday. He has offers from Ball State, Bowling Green, Cincinnati, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, & Western Michigan. He also has interest from Ohio State, Notre Dame, & Wisconsin.

http://rivals.yahoo.com/ncaa/football/re...qwz1xIPZB4

Also expected to visit later this week is 2014 3* Upper Arrlington, OH OLB Chris Frey. Frey has offers from Akron, Ball State, Bowling Green, Kent State, Northern Illinois, Ohio, Syracuse, & Toledo. He has garnered interest from Michigan State, NC State, Ohio State, Tennessee, Virginia Tech, & Wisconsin.

http://rivals.yahoo.com/ncaa/football/re...rey-131660

4* LaSalle WR Derek Kief visited Alabama over the weekend & is heading to Columbus this weekend. He hasn't confirmed it yet but he's likely to come to UK's spring game.

Florida WR Kendrick Holland is visiting UCF & Georgia this weekend but has said UK is still his favorite.

Ohio TE Darryl Long has confirmed he will be at the UK spring game & that's the only visit he currently has planned.
Blur I check daily for your updates thanks for all you do.
Jack Lambert Wrote:Blur I check daily for your updates thanks for all you do.

I second this. It takes a lot of work and time to do what he does!!! Very much appreciated! Him and LeeCoUKFan both!!
You're welcome guys. I'm a little worried about LeeCoUKFan, we haven't heard from him in a bit. I hope he's okay. You read this buddy check in for us, just so we know you're okay.

Today, Denzil Ware affirmed his commitment to the Cats & said he would sign his LOI. I guess he's seen enough. He recently has picked up offers & taken visits, specifically Florida, Georgia, & Florida State. FSU was the school he was originally committed to but he followed Stoops & Elliot here. Here's his tweet:

Denzel Ware1⃣8⃣ @Juiceman_18 I decided to stay firm to UK and be apart of #BBN #stoopstroops an sign in 2014 so let's the #wildcatnation
Should be interesting to see where the Cincinnati kids go (George Brown, Tegray Scales, Travon Hudson, Jon Bezney, Mike Edwards, Tyrell Gilbert, Derek Kief and DeMarco Ruffin). They seem to be "carpooling" a lot on unofficial visits. See if any go as "package deals".
Woodruff, SC 4* WR Blake Bone cut his list to 5 schools Ole Miss, South Carolina, Kentucky, Tennessee, & North Carolina.
Along with LB Chris Frey visiting Thursday, was Columbus, OH (Bishop Ready School) OL Brady Taylor. Both guys looked the part of an SEC football player.

Taylor picked up an offer & has said UK now leads for his services. Buzz is he may be UK's top O-Line priority. Taylor also has offers from Akron, Ball State, Bowling Green, Buffalo, Ohio, Toledo, & Western Michigan. He's garnered interest from Boston College, Duke, Kent State, Michigan State, Northwestern, Notre Dame, Ohio State, & Penn State.

http://rivals.yahoo.com/ncaa/football/re...lor-144776

While Frey did not pick up an offer, he was physically impressive & is likely to receive an offer down the road. He is bigger than advertised.

UK is hot on the trail for the services of Tampa, FL (Tampa Catholic) 3* ATH T.J. Harrell. Harrell is the kid that is being recruited by & kin to Chad Scott. Harrell has offers from Cincinnati, Duke, Florida, FAU, FIU, FSU, Georgia, Houston, Indiana, Marshall, UMASS, Michigan State, Mississippi State, Purdue, South Alabama, USF, UCF, UCLA, Vandy, & WVU. He's also gotten interest from Auburn, Miami(FL), & Ole Miss.

http://rivals.yahoo.com/ncaa/football/re...ell-140455

UK's second 2014 commitment says the same as the first, just a day later. Dorian Hendrix said today he is a solid commitment & will likely sign early since he's scheduled to graduate in December to enroll early.
Airius Moore was the LB on campus yesterday, Chris Frey is visiting today.

Visiting with Frey today, is 2014 Cincinnati Winton Woods DB Mike Edwards.

Frey is likely to receive an offer soon, if not today.

UK will push hard for Mike Edwards to commit today. Hearing UK sits atop his list followed by Louisville & Nebraska. Apparently, he's to cut his list again sometime soon but as of now that's the competition. There is a little buzz that Edwards is one to watch over the next couple days.

The rumors surrounding QB Drew Barker is that he is UK's guy. Barker is to visit April 8th & then again on the 10th. The hope his to build a sizable lead in those two visits before he heads to South Carolina for his final visit there.

UK target, Kendrick Holland WR from Florida is having shoulder surgery today. He sustained the injury during football season, but he played through basketball season with the injury.
