Just came in on Sportscenter that Lakers Coach Mike Brown's job will be in immediate jeopardy if this homestead (6 games) is unsuccessful.
Lakers have Golden State, Sacramento, San Antonio, Phoenix, Houston, Brooklyn
Lakers are 1-4, 1-2 at home

I told all of you Lakers fans that hiring Brown in the first place was a horrible mistake and you all said no it's not.......well look at you now.

Mike Brown is not the right fit for the Lakers and it was a mistake in hiring him. Don't get me wrong, I like him, but he is not a fit for the type of team as the Lakers. Brown is a defensive minded coach who believes in Defense creates points. Sure, all NBA teams prescribe to that philosophy, but you have to build a team around that. The Lakers are a transition team that plays Rebound & Kick transition, not Pressure & Turnover. The Lakers are not at their best (because they are not built to be) at half-court basketball. I'm not sure that Brown can change, but if he doesn't, he will be gone by All-Star break.
