It seems that Estill can't get over the hump and beat Powell. Estill will more than likely draw Letcher Central in 1st Round of Regions. That's about how it always goes

No they cannot. Powell is no more talented than they are.

As I said, I don't think it is the talent level. Even though I support their coach and what he stands for, I think he has a lot to do with it. In watching the game last night and camparing the two teams as they played, Estill just seems to be stressed out all the time and frantically moving around. Powell seemed to stay calm and everyone knew their roles on the team. Estill county appears unorganized and you constantly see confusion. Again, I really think highly of their coach and if he coached the next 10 years I would be fine with that but I think he can improve in some areas.

Granted none of these girls have played except for beginning in 9th grade.

I think Estill had only defeated Powell once in Volleyball in the last 5-7 years. This makes about 7 straight district titles for the Lady Pirates. I like Coach McKinley seems to be a nice guy and he's a good girls basketball coach
