Game 1
Pikeville 9 Shelby Valley 5
Tanner Thompson was on the mound for Pikeville.
Valley was up 5-3, until in the 4th inning Pikeville went on a rally. A couple hits gave Pikeville another run to make it 5-4. Then with a runners on first and second, Clay Slone got a base hit to left center tying the game. The next batter walked, then with the bases loaded Tanner Thompson smacked one into left field giving Pikeville the lead.
Game 2
Pikeville 7 Shelby Valley 0
Peyton Hamilton did a solid job on the mound for Pikeville.
This game makes Pikeville 14-1. I'm glad they were able to bounce back after that loss to Hazard.
