LSU Head Coach Trent Johnson is headed to TCU

I heard this one earlier today and couldn't believe it. Still can't.

^ I was too. Not sure what he get's out of the move besides getting his butt kicked by UK every year other than that he get's nothing out of this. LSU could and probably would beat TCU now.

Now that he's gone does any players transfer to other school's or do they stay?

This is just sad. The LSU job should be more attractive than it is apparently becoming. Plenty of tradition and an excellent group of basketball alums.

Very unexpected. Expectations are hard to meet.

Sounds like he was pushed out just like Tubby, thus this does not shock med at all that he made the move. I hope he does well at TCU!

Quote:Johnson, 55, had been under fire at LSU, though, because of a 67-64 record. He led the Tigers to 27 wins and the NCAA Tournament in his first season in Baton Rouge before following it up with two 11-win seasons and then this year's 18-15 campaign. LSU does return the bulk of the rotation from last season, so there is reason to expect improvement.
