On ESPN yesterday, the tlaking heads had a comparison of the 2 schools.
Drastic difference in the strength of schedule. UK's was in the 80's
if I recall, Cuse was around 7. WHAT ARE THEY SMOKING?
I'll let them give the Big East opponents a little nod against the SEC opponents. But not THAT much. ANd check out the non-con
games. Granted UK had a few creampuffs, but not to the extent
SU did. Just for clarity let's recall the big names on UK's tally:
UNC, Kansas, U of L, IU. Now check out the bright stars in
SU's ledger:Stanford, VA TECH, NC State.
Now about that SOS. Looks pretty sad for SU, as it ANNUALLY
does. UK fans moan about UK's schedule, but Boeheim almost
NEVER plays a name opponent before the conference sets in.

I have to agree with you there. Have no idea how Syracuse's SOS is so high, especially since the Big East is down this year...

I would take an SEC athlete or ball club anyday of the week and twice on saturday:biggrin:.
If we were to put some matchups between Vandy,Florida,Kentucky,Bama against Nova,St. Johns, UCONN, Cuse. I guarantee we would see more wins out of the SEC. And UCONN got beat by Tenn(I believe that's right), now that's sad.
