NSAC Commision meeting December 12 @ 6pm. Overeem License issues is 4th on the docket. Ill post an update as soon as its available.
#3
Its official now, Overeem has been approved for his license. There are conditions that come with it however.

Overeem will get a conditional license but must take a new test at an independent facility within 72 hours, must be tested again once he arrives in the United States and must take random tests for the next year at his own expense.
#4
Brock has to get Overeem on the ground if he has any chance to win this fight.

I hope he pulls it off tho.
#5
There are 2 heavyweight fights I would root against brock in, and this is one of them.

Enough Said!!!
#7
Gonna have to reinforce the cage for this one.
#8
Going to an awesome fight, Go Lesnar!
#9
Lesnar!
I think he will take him down early in the fight and use ground and pound
#10
I'd like to see Brock win but I believe Reem will hit him a few times and it will look like Brock/Cain and Brock/Carwin fight but Overeem will get the finish. My picks:

Reem TKO Round 1
Nate Diaz Sub Round 2
Jon Fitch Obviously by UD
Gustafsson by UD
Phan by UD
#11
Im going

Overeem by TKO round 2
Cowboy Cerrone by UD
Fitch by UD
Gustafsson by TKO round 2
Phan by TKO round 3

Eh, I think he's a tad overrated.
#15
He's not overrated in my mind, I dont think he's that great. The best I think he'll ever be is a spike tv prelim guy. Im a fan though, haha.

Def think Lesnar wins....

Hope Cerrone beats Diaz...

I agree that Riddle may be somewhat overrrated. I only think he is kept around because he provides good fights.
#18
Lesnar should dominate this one and then Dana White should give him his shot at Dos Santos!

LOSERS QUIT WHEN THEY'RE TIRED, WINNERS QUIT WHEN THEY HAVE WON
#19
^ The winner no matter who, gets the shot at Dos Santos
#20
With Overeem's background in K1 and his size, Lesnar isnt going to be able to just bull rush him for a takedown attempt, he'll have to set one up. I just dont think he can stand long enough with Overeem to set one up.
#21
Watched the preview of the main card fights last night....Overeem has a pretty good resume...3 different championship belts. I have been watching him come up after he beat Shogun in Pride but didn't realize he had accomplished so much. With that being said, for Brock to win he needs to withstand Overeem's standup and pound him when he takes him down. I think it will come down to who has better conditioning.
#22
^ And neither have great conditioning. If this fight does not end in the first round, it will be a terrible fight!
#23
Brock has great workout conditioning. His workouts are insane, but once he gets in the ring its like his mind and body give up on him. The first 1 or 2 takedown attempts will decide this fight. If he cant take Overeem down and has to stand and get hit, He'll give up and be running with his tail between his legs just like he did against Cain.
#24
I hope Lesnar wins it.
#25
Lesnar weighed in at 266, Overeem at 263. Its looking like Cerrone-Diaz is gonna be a war.
#26
Like I said, if this goes past the first, turn the TV off!

Lesnar-Overeem

Unbelievable how much bigger Overeem has gotten since his Pride days
