This is bull. He won the race Sunday - he's 3rd in point standings.. He is still able to win his 6th Sprint Cup.

I think what it is saying is that it cursed him being on the cover now and will knock him out of the chase.

^Oh, ok lol... I guess it's some kind of folk-tale or myth that I do not know about?
#5
I've got 2 words for ya...

They left out one of my favs...
(since it was more ironic, and no injuriy occured)

An Aug. 2000, cover features "Mr. Electric", Michael Vick, with a lightning bolt for effect in the background. A couple of weeks later, ESPN Gameday is in town for 1 of those old pre-season "Classic" games, and Corso picks Tech to lose. A few minutes before kickoff, a storm rolls into B'burg and a lightning bolt hits just a few yards outside the student gate to Lane Stadium, where the big-wigs park. ESPN cameras actually caught the bolt hitting a red car and it catching on fire. They didn't know until a couple of hours later that the car was... Lee Corso's rental!

I think he is officially knocked out now. I think it's possible for him to win it but he'd have to win every race left lol..

Either way I have a few words for you VHSL-Helper..

Back to Back to Back To Back and Back again Sprint Cup Champ.

^ I dont see that happing his luck looks to be running out this year
#10
Like I said all year long its CARL EDWARDS TIME! Edwards all the way guys. No one is stopping him this year. Im even going to say lead or no lead going to homestead he dominates that race, leads most laps, and wins, securing his first ever sprint cup championship.
#11
^Not a crazy thought. I think he will win too.
#12
^ I would like to see Carl win it
#13
id like to see Stewart take it.
Ive always been a fan of Stewart and all though i cant stand to set threw 3 hours of watching cars go in a circle, theres usually nothing like the last 5 laps lol.

I love seeing some Carl edwards support. My favorite driver since Dale Sr. Im really pulling for him in this chase.
#16
Boys,, the blue deuce might be a spoiler for Edwards, Kenseth and big Busch this year.
#17
^Hes a great guy and is not a jerk like most of the drivers
#18
You know, id be alright if keselowski won the championship. I much rather it be edwards of course, but brad is a young kid and looks to have a really bright future ahead of him. Considering he has never won one i wouldnt mind him winning. Anyone besides Bush, johnson, and kenseth. Other then those id be happy with anyone else at all.
