I have to say that once again the BGR member's rankings look more accurate than the AP. In fact, those of us working on this have our teams, but these are much less biased the the AP ranking with all of the impractical 1st place votes being given to teams that obviously don't deserve them. Just goes to show just how credible some of these so-called news sources aren't.

He does the 3A rankings.

Personally Edmonsons record is great and there no denying that.
We'll see how they do against Butler County at the end of the year.
Bad thing is that this team wont truly be tested till the playoffs

Then they lose to Powell (Who is a very good team, EARLY IN THE SEASON & it's kind of hard to spot a team 3 TD's when you're playing AWAY & COME BACK) & drop out of the WYMT POLL COMPLETELY BUT still have gained no respect from anyone here.
I realize we're NOT talking about WYMT's Poll & this is your opinion but SERIOUSLY? You want to compare schedules -- Who has Breathitt played? NOBODY!
At least you moved Perry above Johnson Central. I still think Harlan should be ranked #1 above Bell but I understand why Bell is ranked #1 since they haven't been beaten by Harlan YET.

I think there is a drop-off between Belfry and Rockcastle County. I know that I may not truly realize how good they are or whatever but beating Ashland is a really good win. If Rock beats K.....N......O....................................................................X on the road, I will believe the hype.

I watched a couple of their games on Ihigh this past weekend and came away thinking more highly of them than before, but I still don't think they are in the same class as the 1-5 teams. Very good backs, a quick line, and an aggressive defense. Defense would have a ton of trouble vs. athletic teams that will make them pay.

Well, the Lakers probably would beat Taylor. It would fit right in with every other win they have against teams that have losing records. Russell Co. has defeated NOT ONE TEAM with a winning record.
Lex Cath's only loss was by 10 points to a John Hardin team that is either #1 or #2 in 5A. That definetly is equal to the 5 pt loss CovCath had to Highlands. Not to mention, CovCath's best win is against Class A Beechwood. Pathetic if you ask me. LexCath has won at Bell Co., at Boyle Co., and at Lafayette (which is ranked stupidly high in the 6A poll). It is a no-brainer that LexCath is ahead of CovCath.
