state tournament
#1
I was told a team must play nine regular season games to be able to play in state tournament. Is this correct? What are the requirements?
#2
I thought i read it was8 for the 8th graders and 5 for the 7h graders

where are you reading that, please?

Coaches, the link below is to the win/lose record form that must be submitted to be eligible to make the playoffs. Everyone should submit this form as there could be some at large bids to the playoffs. If your team has completed their required 8 games for 8th grade or the 5 games for 7th grade and you wish to submit your form for points average you may do so now. The conference winners (automatic bids) information is beginning to come in so I feel that we can start averaging points to begin seeding the playoffs. Submission of the form is no guarantee of acceptance into the 2011 KYMSFA State Playoffs. Please refrain from telling your team that they have made the playoffs until you receive the notification that plainly states "Congratulation to your team for making the 2011 State Championship Playoffs".
