Reds 5 Nationals 4

Very exciting game today! Cueto goes 7 innings only allowing 2 runs and throws a career best 11 Ks! Yonder Alonso hits a HR in the bottom of the 9th to tie the game at 4 and then Votto hits a walk off HR in the bottom of the 14th!! Don't look now but, the Reds are back above .500 and they're on their 2nd 4 game winning streak of the month while also winning 7 out of their last 9 games!! The Reds have a very good chance of coming in 2nd in the Central Division as they're only 2.5 games behind the Cardinals!!

I was just looking at the season numbers for some of the Reds hitters and they are somewhat disappointing. While they are not numbers to scoff at Votto and Bruce basically have 25-80 and 30-80. Looks like they are carrying the offense.

Sadly, as good as the Reds have been lately.

The Brewers are just maintaining their pace and are likely going to easily win the NL Central, unless they have a epic meltdown of mass porportions.
