QB - Tom Brady - Pats - Multiple rings and he was the MVP last year. This shouldn't be a contest.

RB - Adrian Peterson - Vikes - Complete Package as a running back

WR - Andre Johnson - Texans - Can catch anything.

TE - Jason Witten - Cowboys - Big ole' boy with good hands.

OL - Jake Long - Dolphins - Human Wall

DE - Jared Allen - Vikes - Scariest man in the league lol

DT - Ndamukong Suh - Lions- Freak!

LB - Clay Matthews - Packers - Second Scariest man in the league. (If he had a beard like Jared Allen's he would be tied for first)

CB - Nnamdi Asomugha - Radiers - He pretty much shuts down 1/4 of the field.

S - Troy Polamalu - Steelers - Fast, good hands, and knocks people out.

If people on ESPN have a hard time saying Manning or Brady then yes it is a contest.... I know Manning doesn't have the rings but Manning hasn't had Brady's teams.... Manning has more MVP's...

Manning is coming off of one of his slower seasons and Brady is coming off of an MVP season.

Peyton Manning 2010 Stats

TD's - 33
Yards - 4,700
RTG - 91.8
PCT - 66.3%
YPG - 2993.8

If that's a bad season then everything I've ever said about Manning is true "He's the best ever!!!" Because thats pretty good numbers...

Lets not go overboard. He is not the best ever. Let's be over .500 in the playoffs and have multiple Super Bowl Rings to be even considered the best ever.

You can't say that "It's a team game!"

And everyone on ESPN seems to thing he's one of or the best ever... SOOO...

If Dan Marino is top 5 then Manning is top 2...
#15
What funny is Pats hasn't won much in the playoffs since Spygate!!!

Over Joe Montana, John Elway, Tom Brady, Bart Starr? Yes, football is a team game. But the QB is the team leader on the field. All these guys consistently led their teams to big game wins. I have yet to see that from Manning in a big game.

You left out his 17 interceptions.

Brady had 39 TDs and 4 INTs.
^That is efficiency.
His QB rating was over 111

Yeah Brady was the MVP last year... Hands down...

But it's hard to throw INT's when all he does if throw screens..

I mean its kind of like the Kobe thing with Brady.... I hate him but I do respect him... I respect Kobe a little more because he was the best in the nba for awhile...

But people say Brady is hands down better then Manning is just crazy... And all that playoff talk is crazy, Brady had a great D when they won the super bowls... Football is a lot different then basketball the best player doesn't stay on the field the whole game so it's hard for them to control the outcome all the time...

That's a big reason why a lot of people in Kentucky dislike Manning...
I hear it a lot...

That's the single biggest reason that I don't like him.
Maybe the only one.
I'll never know haha

New England averaged 7.9 yards per attempt. Brady attempted all but 15 passes for the Patriots.
Colts averaged 6.9 yards per attempt. Manning is the only QB to throw passes for the Colts in 2010.

Look at YAC (yards after catch)!!!!

ekff Wrote:Look at YAC (yards after catch)!!!!

A lot of YAC doesn't always mean you are throwing screens.
I could also mean you are hitting your receivers in stride.
#26
ekff Wrote:Look at YAC (yards after catch)!!!!
What does YAC have to do with Yards per attempt? You said earlier that it hard to throw interceptions when you nothing but screens. I blew that theory out of the water when Brady's yards per attempt is a full yard higher than Manning's but threw 13 fewer interceptions.

ekff Wrote:Look at YAC (yards after catch)!!!!
Brady 2006 yds
Manning 2003 yds

Manning gets all the credit when they win. But when they loose its because of his teams defense. Tired of hearing that. Quit blowing it in the playoffs and lead your team to another Super Bowl Ring. The QB is the main reason for most teams Super Bowls. People say Well, the steelers defense..... Ben is a great QB, Not many people can get out of the situations he gets in and end up with game changing plays. Quit making excuses for winning 10+ season games then losing in the playoffs and then blaming your defense.
