about the only team that can come close to beating them is Powell County but I don't see that happening, Letcher Central will be Region Champs again, I just hope they can do good at State and Represent the 14th Well
#3
They have been close two times. They did get a state win on 06 before loosing in the second round. We have played Russel and Southwestern close the past two years. We are due for a first round win.

^ LCC should fair pretty well. Good Luck to you all on the Season!
#5
Coach Adams has decided to resign as head volleyball coach. Need quick transition to new coaching.
#6
Just by looking at LCC schedule its obvious to win a state title they must play more teams out of the mountains. Its great to have a winning record but you must play better teams throughout the season to be able to compete with your top caliber teams. Im not sure who the top teams in the mountains are but my guess would be none really compares to the teams that are competing for a state title. I may be wrong but JMO.

Any news on who the coach is going to be?

Termite I said state tournament game not state title. You have to start at a small goal for the big ones come alone.

Good luck Coach Caudill and keep the tradition going.

I think it is in good hands. We return just about everybody. Ari Nichols, Emi Nichols and Julie Cornett all were on the all 14th region team and are Juniors this year. They lost I think 4 seniors including Lisa Frazier who was MVP of the 14th Region last year. I think they will reload and be fine. Go Cougars!

They will be loaded again. Keven Nichols is an outstanding assistant coach in the past for Coach Caudill and Coach Adams and I am sure he will continue helping Coach Caudill again as his daughters are two of the star players.

41 is a lot. Is she going to get more games on the schedule or has she added some already?

Johnson Central will be a early test to see what kind of season we will have.
