Randy Orton came out to open up the show to a huge response. But before he could get into his business, Christian interrupted him, and offered congratulations for their match at the pay per view. A little tension was teased, but then Sheamus interrupted, followed by Mark Henry.

This brought out General Manager Teddy Long, who booked a Triple Threat Match for the number one contendership. Mark Henry vs Sheamus vs Christian.

In the first match for this Friday's Smackdown, Sin Cara beat Chavo Guerrero in a rematch from their Over The Limit match. Sin Cara was way over coming out, but the crowd didn't seem to care once the match got started.

Daniel Bryan beat Cody Rhodes with The LeBell Lock, but after the match Cody gave Daniel Bryan the paper bag treatment.

Capitol Punishment video. Crowd groaned.

After a Tribute To The Troops video, Booker T gets in the ring and he calls Michael Cole into the squared circle. Booker offered Cole the chance to apologize to the Smackdown audience like he apologized to the Raw crowd, but then threw to the screen, with Lawler's foot in Cole's mouth. Booker gave Cole some Altoids. Lame.

Backstage, Christian talked about how he was always the last kid picked for the team, but he always proved everyone wrong.

Kane beat Great Khali manaed by Ranjin Singh. Jinder Mahal got Khali to turn on Ranjin Singh after the match.

Ezekiel Jackson defeated Heath Slater by DQ.after interference from the Corre.

Sheamus promo backstage. Nothing special.

Alicia Fox and Tamina defeated A.J. and Kaitlyn, managed by Natalya. This came after The Slam of the Week, which had that strange moment of Kharma breaking down on Raw. This womens match needed Kharma's interference.

Sheamus became the number one contender by defeating Christian and Mark Henry. Orton was on commentary. No real controversy here. Surprising finish.
