Why Goldberg Did Not Sign With TNA Wrestling
#1
There has been a lot of speculation on the Internet lately that Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff's first choice for the "Network Representative" on TNA iMPACT Wrestling was not Mick Foley, but Bill Goldberg.

"Bill views them [TNA] as a minor league," we were told by someone with knowledge of both sides of the pursuit to land Goldberg on Spike TV, "Bill was hungry to work WrestleMania in Atlanta so his son could see him just one time do his thing as Goldberg, but he has no desire to tarnish his image as a top draw by playing for a losing team like TNA."

Another person close to both sides confided, "When Hogan low-balled Goldberg on that Australian tour (two years ago), Bill was very upset. Then the promoters of the entire tour went bankrupt. Bill looks at the ratings in TNA, and how poorly booked the company is, and he has no desire to put his legacy in their hands. He felt his run in WWE was bad enough. Letting Hogan, Bischoff, and Russo ruin his legacy any further just isn't in his plans."

He has enough money, I don't blame him.

I'd like to see him in the Ring just one more time
#4
I would also like to see bill come back one more time.

^ Let him be the Undertakers 20th WM win!

I think Goldberg and Sting would demand the same type of deal, a guaranteed win at a major PPV. I don't think Vince would give either of them a guaranteed win at Mania, and I don't think they would pay them what they wanted to do a Rumble or Summerslam.

I'd love to see Sting get into the HOF, but since he never will wrestle in the WWE, that will never happen.

^ Jericho or Bret Hart

^ Jericho choked out Goldberg in the locker room. Jericho left because of the BS that Bischoff was feeding everyone about Jericho. The comments about Jericho being too small as a legit contender for the title was all Bischoff. Goldie believed the hype and started repeating the same BS he heard in production meetings. He paid the price as Jericho got the best of him. Those two made up and both put the blame on EB!

Goldberg was and always will be one of my favorite wrestlers of all time.

The match I would have loved to have seen was Goldberg vs Stone Cold.

^ It was on it's way to that, but Goldie just never could "get it" in the WWE locker room.
