Wurtland Middle School 6th grade beat Nicholas Co. and Lewis Co today to win Lionbacker Tournament in Lewis Co. Final season record 27-4 For those that are wondering Wurtland Middle is in Greenup Co.

Mike was also 1-0 filling in coaching the 8th grade Wurtland team for a game this year at Fairview. The kids enjoyed him coaching them.

Also that win over Fairview dropped them from a #2 seed to a #4 seed in the tournament which put them in Elliott's bracket instead of Raceland.
