Bell County 2011

FilthyAnimals Wrote:Bell County will win the 3A State Championship this year they will play Lou. Central for the Championship in Bowling Green.

That would be nice, but due to KHSAA's overwhelming wisdom:flush: Bell is in the West and in the same region as Central. They would face a Eastern Ky team in the finals if they make it.

That would be great for EKY.

Trenches07 Wrote:Interesting fact: this is the 20 yr reunion of Midnight Madness on Log Mtn. It was started by David Daniels, Derrick Thomas, Joe Smith, and that group that lead the Bobcats to the first ever State Championship. Funny thing was it was thrown together after a morning practice the very first time and it was not because of the heat. The PLAYERS voted on it and asked coach it we could do it. Back then HEAT Index was not an issue!

i participated in the first 2 midnight practices. it was a lot of fun, everyone was ready to hit.

Thought this needed some attention. Bell Co has a Middle School player in 8th Grade who is 6'6 275 lbs. Name is Nathan Murray. Keep that name in mind for years to come. Wink

Bell County is always a tough team to play. They lost 7 or 8 starters last season from their defense but they have some new boys stepping in their shoes. Should be interesting to see how they do.
