We made sure that everyone that dealt with the FBU and the ARMY all-star game knew that Willie was from the Big Sandy Conference in Eastern Kentucky. I personally told the main representative Erik Richards that there are several other Big Willie Smith's across Eastern Kentucky and that they just have to come looking again next year and they will find some more. Hopefully this will open some doors for other Eastern Kentucky kids in the near future. You had a few on your team that I thought could have played in this game along with several other kids from our conference that would have been stand-outs. I spoke to Willie a little while ago and told him that his conference was really proud of him and he just ate it all up.
