If you want to compare his day to the current president, Biden has been praising attacks on the "religion of peace" by Christians to commemorate the attacks by Islamic extremists on 9/11. It is hard to believe that anybody would look so hard for something to criticize a former president for on 9/11, when the current president did not even make a formal public appearance to commemorate the attacks by 19 Islamic terrorists on American soil.

Looks pretty formal.
Did Biden speak? Or was this just a photo op for the President of the United States?
You said appearance. You wanted him to speak?
I’m not sure he needs to talk.  To me there are more important people on that day.

If they would have allowed Trump to talk, then he would have made an appearance.  There was nothing for him to gain by being there to show respect, so that's why he was doing a clown show instead.
Trump is a private citizen and is free to spend his time however he wants. I hope that Trump remains a private citizen but if he chooses to run for president again, then that is also his constitutional right, despite the Democrat Party's repeated efforts to deprive him of that right. Biden is our president and he is our problem right now.
