One thing about this season that I can’t wait. Is to see Kid Elam throwing the ball around the field. The kid was in his first year as the starting QB for Corbin. So like others who think their team will be better with experience. How good do you think Corbin will be with the experience that Kid Elam got last season. The kid is tuff. The offense will be very hard to stop. The defense brings back enough experience in some key positions to be one of the last 3 teams standing IMO.

4/21 4A 3rd round predictions.

1. Boyle

2. Corbin/Johnson Central.  Corbin beats JC 2tds regular season.

3. Franklin County

4. Covington Catholic

I think that Covington Catholic is going to be much better than most BGR members expect. From what I understand, CCH returns all of their top skill players from last year's team, which IMO was better than Johnson Central and as good or better than Corbin. I would not be shocked if an undefeated Johnson Central meets Covington Catholic for the regional title on the road. I don't think that there is going to be much difference between Corbin, Johnson Central, and Covington Catholic. Any one of the three could make it to Kroger Field but Johnson Central and Covington Catholic are facing the toughest road.

Franklin County will end up ranked higher because after the 3rd round 2 of those teams will be eliminated. Franklin County seems to always be in that 4th round game. 

They are worthy.

I disagree. Franklin County was not close to Covington Catholic last year and they lose considerable talent from that team, including Moorman, Galloway, and Claudio. There is no way that Franklin County will be better than Covington Catholic next season.

All you need to worry about is Corbin leaving tread marks on your forehead.

I'm not worried about Corbin at all, Mr. Adopt-a-Team. If anybody is going to leave tread marks on foreheads it will be Zack McCoart and his teammates. Johnson Central will not be bringing a finesse team to Corbin.
