Doesn’t show chinks in Hazards armor. I’ve been telling everyone about the freshman pitcher from Powell. Gonna be a real problem for teams in the 14th for 4 more years. 5 inning, 3 earned runs 5 k’s and 1 walk, gave up 5 hits but 3 of those came in the 5th…gotta get that arm conditioned to last longer. All in his very first high school start against the defending region champs.

Well I think Hazard is still the team to beat. Meehan is the best there is in the region. Powell has some talent in that freshman class and their travel ball program has been pretty solid over the years with Begley, King, and Napier. Those guys have really been instrumental in the development of those players and players from several other counties.
