2015 Pikeville may be the best I've seen. They had to beat Beechwood to win the championship which is better than any 1a team Pikeville has faced since then as well as the Paintsville team with Kash Daniel on it although he didn't play. Daric Pugh was one of the vest hs running backs I've saw play.

Abe I don’t know what you have in the pipe your smoking but this won’t be close. Pikeville will impose their will on Russellville. I’ve said several times Pikeville could compete in 1A thru 4A. Nothing against Russellville but this years Pikeville team is not the normal 1A they are special. Might not see it ever again but Panther faithful are really enjoying it.

This year's Pikeville team is really good but that 2019 team was 2 maybe 3td better. That team was what I would call special that comes around once every 40 years.

Disagree for several reasons. Not time to discuss until after Friday though. But this will do for now:

I watched every game from both teams and there's no way 2021 beats 2019

Jackson, Lockhart, Pugh, Tinsley at wideouts
Collum and Raines in the backfield

It's an interesting thought, but there's no way in my opinion 2019 loses.

Tell that to Raceland who Pikeville beat 12-6 in 2019 and .....2021 running clocked
Tell that to Paintsville who 2019 beat 9-8 in regular season and....2021 had a 36-0 run to win going away
Tell that to Belfry who 2019 beat 22-21 and..... 2021 beat 29-0

And a lot more reasons but no need to discuss until Pikeville takes care of business Friday.

That would be like saying the 21 Pikeville team is way better than the 15 team cause they beat Belfry 29-0 but the 15 team lost 34-8. The 2015 Belfry team was one of the best to ever play in the mountains and running clocked Lex Cath before halftime in the finals.
