Official contacts, like through the KHSAA? Again, Mr Tackett never made 1 mention of this during the meeting and he did offer many suggestions. Also, I personally called the head of our local officials association and he said they have had zero discussions about it. So, name the official sources that you have heard mention it. I think some fans have discussed it, but not sure it has gone beyond that.
During his Zoom session he did say that baseball/softball coaches have asked to have a short season in the fall, like 3 weeks, to make up for what they lost. He also said that he was opposed to that due to the strain it would put on small schools that share athletes.
