Boyle County @ Corbin (State Semifinals)11/23
It's easier said than done, but if Corbin wants to make another trip to Kroger Field this year, they must keep Boyle County's offense on the sideline as much as possible. Belfry had success in the first half, grinding out drives, but turnovers allowed Boyle to score and gain momentum heading into the half. Corbin's offense will need to sustain drives that eat away at the clock, and put points on the board. I really feel like, Corbin will be able to move the ball more effectively this year against Boyle's defense, due to Esteps duel threat ability, but at the end of the day, Corbin's defense will have to win this game. Boyle is going to put points on the board, but Corbin's defense must make them earn every yard and limit the big plays. Corbin needs to make this game as ugly and physical as possible, by making Boyle grind out drives and creating turnovers. Corbin has to make Boyle play at their pace, because Corbin can't afford to get into a shoot out with Boyle. I don't want to make a prediction and jinx the Hounds, so good luck to Corbin and Coach Haddix.
