That opens up a spot for Rains and his wife but I do not know if Paintsville would pay 2 salaries rather than one. As far as promises, I think the promises are being made to the wrong folks. They should promise these kids they will find them the best coach possible, and not use the buddy system to lasso one in.

Sorry to dbl. post, but remembered this one late. If Paintsville can remodel and buy city blocks, they can hire adequate teachers for MATH & SCIENCE for goodness sakes & finish the softball Field of Dreams. If the real estate thing is being pushed by the PHSAA and some other inside folks, then they can help the school do what's best for MATH, SCIENCE, and if Football gets a bump from it, well, HOORAY FOR FOOTBALL! For once a decision could be made that makes some sense and people with honest to goodness certifications will be placed in positions where they can benefit the students!
