Tottenham comes into this match managing three wins in a row but they will be severely tested by Manchester United here. Then Robin van Persie is another player to watch out here. It should be noted that United head to White Hart Lane on an an eight match unbeaten streak in the Premiership and have won seven of them. Southampton vs Chelsea

Southampton have kept clean sheets in six of their nine home league matches this term so their backline is their strength this season. In their last two games they have conceded only one goal so they are tightening up at the back once more. However one statistics they do not want to be reminded here is that Southampton have won just one of the last 10 Barclays Premier League matches against Chelsea (W1 D3 L6). The player to watch for Southampton will be Shane Long as he has scored in three of his last four Premier League starts against Chelsea. Then there is also Graziano Pelle. Jay Rodriguez has opened the scoring in two of the last three matches against Chelsea so he is another player to keep an eye out for.That means that even though they have responded, they clearly don’t have the proven form against the top sides in the Premiership. This will be a tough testing time for Southampton as atough run of matches to come as they face Arsenal and then Manchester United after meeting Chelksea on Sunday.

Chelsea have scored in each of their last nine league trips to Southampton, scoring more than once six times in this run and with their current form, no doubt they are favourites to get the win here. Other then scoring more goals against West Ham on Boxing Day they were impressive in that win. After the defeat to Newcastle and the draw against Sunderland, Chelsea managed to silence their critics when they beat Stoke 2*0 before Christmas. Chelsea have managed a W5 D3 L1 record on the road, but have won just two of their last five on their travels. Jose Mourinho's side have lost just one of their last 12 Premier League away matches (W8 D3 L1) so you can't see them losing here.
