This is kind of the problem.
WYMT doesn't cover "mountain" schools contrary to popular belief. They have a coverage "area". Just because its called the mountain top 10 doesn't mean its all mountain areas. It should read "heres a list of top 10 teams that view our station".

I don't think you can consider Pikeville eastern ky and also consider Corbin eastern ky. Thats about a 3 hour drive. It just doesn't make sense. Every school that was in the SEKC at one point or the other should really be considered southern ky, or at the very least, southeastern Kentucky.

I consider those schools all southern ky schools. The term "mountains" is irrelevant. There hardly any mountains in a lot of the coverage area. At least not like youd find in Pike County.Maybe a few oversized hills, but definitely not mountains. Rockcastle has always been considered part of the mountain coverage area, and if they are, we might as well include Berea a mountain school as well.

Its all about the coverage area. Pulaski Counties residents have WYMT on there TV's making it just as much a part of the coverage area as Hazard.

I get what you're saying about a lot of the WYMT coverage area not really being in the "mountains". That would certainly include places like Somerset, London, and Corbin.

But Bell County? They've got some of the highest mountains in the state. I can't imagine not considering Bell as part of eastern KY.
