Barcelona vs Granada

Barcelona
Barca have made it five unbeaten result in five consecutive weeks of the Spanish top-flight league, although their most recent outing was not necessarily a three-pointer. They opened the season with a 3-0 home victory against Elche which was then followed by three more clean sheets versus Villarreal 0-1, Athletic Bilbao 2-0, and Levante 0-5. Their fifth and most recent battle prevented them from scoring a goal, but they also made sure that the opposition will be goalless as well (versus Malaga 0-0). Thus far, Barcelona are the only side in the tournament to not concede a single goal. Needless to say, World Cup Golden Ball winner Leo Messi remains to be the club’s top player, with Neymar, Munir, and Sandro Ramirez not far behind.

Granada
Minus their debacle from the recently concluded brawl against Levante, Granada have so far been one of the top favorites in the current season of the Spanish top-flight tournament—a distinction it never enjoyed in the same degree as the last season. Before plummeting to the eighth spot (which is still part of the top half) of the current league rankings, Nazaries were consistently part of the top six in the first four weeks of La Liga. They made their best table appearance in the second week when they placed fourth after holding Elche in a draw. The defense is quite stunning, but the attack can do so much better than it seems to display.
