The best softball coach in the region has to be Greg Napier from SV. Coach Napier understands the game and always has a good strategy for his girls to go by. Not only does he understand the game but he understands his players, from who he should have doing what to who he can rely on at a given time. Coach Sawyers from Pikeville is also a great coach who understands what she is doing.

Greg always says he learned a lot of what he knows from Liz Salyers and her dad, Bill Baird.

Jill Morgan at East Ridge is also an excellent coach, going back to when she was at Elkhorn City.
