Noone wants to see a player injured. Not coaches, players,family or friends. Having said that I sincerely hope that Jude brings the record to Eastern Ky. His coach would have to be irresponseable to not assist his player any way that he could. "Run JJ run".

You are exactly right Charlie. If it does not effect the outcome of a game (that is in the won and loss sense), then give it to him 50 times a game if that's what it takes. JJ has earned the right for at least a legitimate shot at it, risk of injury or not. This is not JC's year to challenge for a state title anyways. That is exactly what Adolph Rupp did for Dan Issel, but you dont hear the clamor over him doing it. Issel is still revered as the greatest scorer of all time at UK, and nobody questions it's legitimacy.

I also feel very sure that everyone who has ever broken this record over the years had help from their coaches as well. You would just about have to have that kind of assistance. It's too bad you have a bunch of jealous people on here, (that in spite of what they ramble on about) really dont give a crap if JJ gets hurt or not throwing their 2 cents in on it. Truth be known, I bet a few of them are secretly hoping he would get hurt.
