What does it take to have a good offense?
#1
*Be physical
* head " north and south"
*be repeatable
*succeed vs. all defenses
*spawn companion runnig plays of the same action( a must)
*promote play action passing
*prosper on muddy fields
*be low risk
*be a proven success

(IMO):Hammer3:
#2
*a good o-line that knows their assignments

*backs who know how to read blocks

*a smart QB with a decent arm and good field vision
#3
A QB who can read his D an change plays when needed-

good o- who know how to execute the plays with hard hits-

good back field who can read the blocks and knowing when plays are changed based on the D.
#4
Linemen

I think that this is a lot simplier than people have illustrated . . .

1. Scheme that fits your personnel
2. A complete understanding of that scheme (so it can be used to expose your opponents weaknesses)
3. Perfect execution.

Nothing more, nothing less. If the scheme fits the kids--then you have a chance automatically. I don't believe in low risk on offense or defense--if your scheme fits--you can afford to take a lot more chances.

1 A good line

2 Players with abilities that allow you to do a bunch of different things
#7
*a o line that is willing to get down and play some hard nosed football.
*a smart back that reads blocks and finds the whole and willing to give it all to win.
*a qb that has good feet and can throw on the run and will let routes evolve.
*and most of all o coordinater that sees the d weakness.
#8
lineman who can run or pass block and are athletic
