I got a chance to see the remake of the past horror flick today and thought it was a pretty good movie. It has an interesting plot that will keep you on the edge of your seat.

Horror movies nowadays are so much different to those in the past.

Overall, I thought the movie was pretty good with the exception of a few parts. Maybe worth a matinee, but some should wait until the DVD release. If this helps, it's much better than the Grudge or Boogeyman. I give it 3/5.

The main horror behind it all is that the movie(s) are based on true events.
