 Whoever said that was exactly right.   Knott had two starters out and played two eighth graders.  Game was still in doubt right down to the last minute

I wouldn’t say it was down to the last minute. Breathitt pretty much controlled the whole game with a double digit lead that could have been easily been extended had Breathitt not made a couple weak passes or took a few quick shots.

A win over Knott County this season especially with their current roster isn’t what it would be in years past. Knott basically played with 1 kid with real varsity experience last night. Breathitt has to figure out how play team defense and stop gambling so much for steals. Good teams are going to make them pay for gambling so much. With that said I still think the 14th is a 3 team race with PCC, Breathitt, and Wolfe. Friday night will be a great game in Jackson with the Wolves and Bobcats.
