What are some of the best records since 2007?
#1
I have been curious to see.

I know Bell Co has a 45-3 record since starting of the 2007 season. All three losses were to Lex Cath in 07 and Alcoa, Boyle Co in 2009. All three teams won the State Championship in their classes those years.

Pretty amazing stats.

Highlands 51-1
Bell Co 45-3

although not as impressive, Estill does have a 27-10 record. Not bad for them!
#5
Jamey Johnson -The guitar song
AC/DC - Black Ice

Two good records.

Well Somerset is 21-1 including this season and last season but since 2007 its only 35-11

Since 2008 Boyle County is 34-1 but if you include 2007 that drops them down to 39-8.

Here are a couple other that I thought I would mention

Fort Campbell: from 07-09 went 42-3 but including this year they're at 43-8
Prestonsburg: from 08-now 30-4 including 07 they're 39-8

It seems IMO that for alot of teams they're able to put together 3 really good seasons but not 4 so IMO any team that has less than 8 losses in the past 4 years is among the Elite!

I did some research and Belfry is 39-8.
#10
well lone oak is 39-4 since and hazard is 33-10 since 2007
#11
Bell Highlands and Lone Oak stand out after reading this.

I was just curious. So 3 teams have the better records then. You have to think too some of the other teams probably has had some very HARD schedules too as well or more would be on this.

I know this is from 2007 and up Highlands since 1980 is 339 and 79
2004 was the forfit year I added the wins because they won them and the courts said they did. I might be off a little?

And Highlands one loss was in 2008 to Cincinnati Colerain, who at the time was ranked by some as the No. 1 team in the nation. Highlands lost 33-18 and was without their starting RB in the game. He'd broken his leg during a scrimmage against Male several weeks prior. I'm not going to say we'd have definitely beaten Colerain if the RB had been playing, but the kid was a stud RB (he started at Highlands as a RB his sophmore year, which should tell folks something about how good he was because that rarely, rarely happens at Highlands) and I think the game would have been much closer. Oh well, what might have been doesn't matter.

Since Coach Matney came to Johnson Central in 2004, JC is 62-18 to this point if my math is correct. 34-11 since 2004.

Pretty nice record!
