Who has the best 6th grade school girls team in pike, floyd, johnson, martin, maggofin, letcher,etc and they don't have to be just from the following counties? Let's hear it.

I have not seen all the teams in the other counties play, and I'm sure there are some good ones, but with what I have seen from Dorton they are by far the the best team for their age in pike co, it would take a very solid team with girls their age from any of the nearby counties to beat them. Especially when Dorton starts 2 six graders and 3 fifth graders with the majority of their bench being made up of 5th graders and below. The future looks very bright for DGS.:dontthink

Virgie has a very good 5th grade team, I say this because they have only one 6th grader and she plays very little. I think this is the best 5th grade team in Pike County, one girl 11 years old(just turned) and the rest are 9 and 10. They have 7 -5th graders, two-4th graders and 2 pretty good 2nd graders. The best 5th grader does not play with them right......she starts on the 8th grade team and does very good for a 10 year old. Future looks bright in the entire Shelby Valley area as far as girls are concerned.
