I love the commodores and they are improving every game, but as of now they are not a top 10 team, they do however have a couple big games coming up, let’s see if they can bounce back from last weeks loss..

Looks pretty accurate to me. I would move Johnson Central up

In reality yes. Jc needs to be way higher. But out of state games are killer for RPI and sometbing needs to change. It’s the same if you play the #1 team in the nation or the #18,000. I’m not smart enough to figure out what needs to be done about it. But I get keeping up with OOS teams is a nightmare for those in charge. But JC will start to move up the next few weeks. And overall it should tighten up for a few teams on there.

Lex cath is the wildcard in there. I don’t have time to look it up, but with cross districting, what district plays what district?

Boyle and Lex Cath will both likely make it out of the first two rounds. They play the district that has Rowan, Harrison, Scott, and Holmes.

3rd round matchups with the current RPI as it is right now..

Boyle @ home vs Johnson Central

Corbin @ home vs Lexington Catholic
#9
There is a lot of time left. A Lexington Catholic upset of Boyle County seems more likely this season than last season and BC only won the regular season game 16-10 last season. Also, I wonder how the RPI would be if Johnson Central wins out and Lexington Catholic loses to both Boyle and Scott County.

Another possible wildcard might be if Ironton were to have to forfeit its first five games because the hypocritical administration of Ashland may have reported Ironton for using an ineligible player, who they allegedly claim was recruited away from Ashland. I hope that none of that report is true, but Ashland has a history of reporting other schools of recruiting while recruiting themselves. I would hate to see Johnson Central back into a better seed with the help of Ashland's administrators. The RPI system is wrong for a lot of reasons, IMO, but it is fairly applied to every team.

I look for Johnson Central to win out… Lexington Catholic has some 50/50 games left or 60/40 games like you said.. Boyle honestly looks better than last year when I watched them Friday.

Maybe a Corbin/Johnson Central part 3…

Boyle’s defense with Cole Sims healthy is as good as last year’s and If Boyle’s offense is healthy they have a lot more weapons than last year.

There’s no way Lex Cath will drop far enough to be passed by JC. Even if they lose to Scott Co and Boyle.

Thanks. Is the cross bracketing available to see on KHSAA? With RPI and crossing,it’s hard to picture it in my mind for everyone on this side of the bracket (I’m about half stupid until I get my coffee and then still a little bit) but I’d just like to see it so I can what the possible scenarios could be.

Nvm. I finally found it. It’s the same way they’ve always done it. 1 and 2. 3 and 4. 5 and 6. 7 and 8.

I wish they’d switch it up every year. 2 play 4 and 1 play 3. At least that would be some new teams. I don’t think travel would be that much more. But I’m not complaining, I love the district cross bracketing
