What make Somerset so good is they play so many different styles of football. They can lineup be a power football team, or they can spread you out and outrun teams or they can spread defense out throw football all over field. There offense o-line is really big and physical but also athletic!!! Going be tough team for any one to beat. They win this game 4 TDs or more. Then Their Defense is very very tough!!! Chase Burnner #1 is a beast at LB. Their whole is stout and if they have a weakness is being to aggressive and give up big play sometimes. But a very solid Defense.

Interestingly they’re statistically almost 50-50 on the year production wise: About 2700 yds passing and about 2700 yds rushing through 12 games - give or take a very small amount (per khsaa)

Somerset wins easy and gets one step closer to playing for the state championship.

Somerset isn’t going to get a break in any round in their quest to Kroger Field.

McClean isn’t going to roll over for anyone and if Somerset wins this game, they’ll have a probable matchup with Breathitt County to get to Lexington.

If nothing else, the path to Lexington hasn’t been a bit simple from the regular season till now with two good teams left to face before a possible championship game to play.

That is incorrect. The playoffs are reseeded for the semifinals. If all 4 favorites win in the Regional Finals then Mayfield will be seeded number 1 and would host number 4 Beechwood. Number 2 seed Somerset would host Breathitt. East and West doesn't matter in the semifinals, only RPI seeding.

I don´t have a dog in the race, but always pull for the teams closest to home, guess I will pull for the Bobcats to go all the way. Kyle is a great guy. He did a few years here in Perry Co. before heading back home. Would have been good to see a Breathitt Somerset title game though!!
