Cal/desales vs central

Does anyone know why these teams don't play each other? You'd think it'd be a great matchup every year.. Has any of these teams reached out to the other to try and make this game happen? To me, this is a no brainer for all 3. Is there something holding it back behind the scene?

CAL and Central played 2015 and 2016. I donât know why it was not continued.

Those 3 would be great games. Big gates and limited travel expense.

Central decided to "play up" in 4A next season to avoid that district.

Was it Centralâs choice to move up or due to where they fell on the 4 year avg. enrollment. I ask because I hadnât heard anything about them requesting to move up.
