WYMT just reported that a plane has crashed near the airport in Pikeville. There are reports of injuries but no reports of fatalities. I'm sure there will be more news soon.

Per WYMT.com

Breaking news out of Pike County.
A Pike County firefighter has confirmed to WYMT-TV that a plane has crashed in Pike County near the Pikeville airport.
Kentucky State Police say they received a call around 12:48 pm.
The crash site is off of Kelsey Friend Boulevard near the airport.
A firefighter confirms there are at least two fatalities.
We'll bring you updates as we get them.

Where did my post go?

Anyway, I hate to hear this. Apparently they're not from Kentucky, so the weather combined with not being familiar with the airport may have played a big role in the crash. Either way, it's still a loss of life. Hopefully their families get the closure of finding out exactly what happened and how it happened.
