LOUISA, Ky. - The Lawrence County Bulldogs improved to 3-0 after a 55-3 victory over the visiting East Ridge Warriors in Kentucky high school football action.

The Bulldogs, led by senior tailback Hunter James, cruised to victories in their first two games - outscoring their opponents 142-27. James, who is leading the state in rushing, has carried the ball 27 times for 602 yards and 13 touchdowns. James shares carries with junior fullback Jacob Marcum and sophomore wingback Caleb Bentley in the backfield. These three backs have earned the nicknames slash,dash and smash in the Lawrence County community with recent performances.
