Paintsville 9 - Hazard 4
#1
Hazard had a 3 run 3rd inning and Paintsville countered with a 7 run 3rd inning. Derek said there were three ejections in the game. Two for Hazard and one for Paintsville. Hate to see that happen.

And Why?

According to KHSAA's DQ list: Joey Meehan- automatic by rules and Seth Rice- unsportsman like conduct. Didn't list a 3rd ejection-not sure if it hasn't been uploaded or perhaps it was a situation where the person was restricted to the dugout and not actually ejected.

Hazards coach was ejected earlier for arguing calls and throwing his hat.

Hazard's head coach was the third toss of the night.

Congrats Tigers!
This game had it all!
Big hits, Squeeze, Straight steal home, ejections.....you name it it happened! Heck...at one point the police were even on the field! I know a couple of people that came just to watch but hate baseball because they say it is boring! They were like....WOW!!!

Can anyone that was there, clarify the arguing/ejection of Hazard coach?

Used to all the favoritism they get in the 14th, and couldn't handle it going the other way in the 15th. They think someone owes them something everywhere they go and some of them act like pure idiots most of the time. Glad to see someone stand up to them and put them in their place. The Coach has the worst attitude and it funnels down to his team. All they do is talk junk in every game they play. If anyone had any guts in the 14th this would happen more often to them. Good luck to the Tigers next week.

Paintsville is really playing ball. Can't wait to see how they do down state.

Sounds like these two teams mirror each other

The final straw was him agruing over how many stikes a batter had on him. Hazard thought there should have only been two strikes on the batter and the umpire called him out on strikes. This lead to the throwing of the hat and sunglasses. All of this was after the straight steal of home plate by Paintsville's Cyrus, in which the Hazard coaches were also upset about.

The ejections of the players came when a Hazard player hit a slow ground ball the first basemen Rice. Seth Alex picked the ball up and was waiting on the Hazard player so he could tag him out, the Hazard player "ran into" Rice and fell to the ground and tempers flared.
