Campbell County put this game in cruise control in the 3rd quarter, but GRC really put up a great battle and almost pulled this game out.

This is the first round match-up this Friday at GRC. Should be a fun game

Sophomore kicker Grant Mahoney kicked a 32-yard field goal in double-overtime to give Campbell County the victory.

Grant scored with 4:55 remaining in regulation on a 28-yard touchdown pass from Andrew Dini to Corey Rogers to make it 35-33. Dini kept the ball and scored on the two-point conversion to tie the game and send it to overtime.

Campbell senior quarterback Michael Kremer finished 31-of-55 for a career-high 456 yards, and five touchdowns.

Wide receiver Coy Hodge had 11 receptions for 134 yards, while Matt Smith added four receptions for 86 yards and a touchdown.

For Grant, quarterback Andrew Dini finished 13-of-21 for 311 yards and five touchdowns. Wide receiver Porky Harris had seven receptions for 201 yards and three total touchdowns.

The teams will play again next week in the playoffs.

What a ball game. GRC was down 21-7 in the first quarter and down 35-13 in the 3rd quarter. GRC didn't give up and took the Camels into 2 OT's on their home field on senior night. Biggest play of the game was when CC had marched down the field and was on the GRC 18 yard line with 46 seconds to go and GRC's Skinner intercepted the ball, taking the game into OT.

These two will matchup this week in the first round of the playoffs. The game will be at GRC. Look for another great game between these two teams.
