Possibly hiring Keathley sister so he will come?

He’s been rumored to be at more schools than any high school athlete I can remember but If it gets his sister a job then I can see this actually happening.

I assumed Matt Thornsberry would get the Belfry job. I’d give Kristy Orem a call to see if she wanted to coach again. Duncan that left and is at Johnson Central would probably enroll at Belfry if Orem is hired

Thornsbury would be the best in the long term but we will hire for the here and now. Back door politics as usual but I would love to watch keathley every game if it happens. Just don’t see him staying.

As for the person saying to get rid of Thacker at Betsy Layne, there’s a reason you’re the dumbest fanbase in the state. Between cheating, fighting and sheer ignorance, BL takes the cake for the most out of touch fans in the state. Dude took a turd sandwich and turned them into a competitor. Leave the guy alone. I’d take him 10x as the boys coach at Prestonsburg and not think twice about it.

100% agree. He does more with less and they will be tough this season if he stays and keeps his roster in place.

Not saying this for everyone, but most of those who are actually supporters of BL love Kory and what he has done at Betsy Layne. I really believe that.

Interviews were yesterday or at least some of them.   Most are saying it will be Keathley.   I think she will be named by end of next week.

jenkins reached out to thornsbury about their job and he is interviewing there is what i was told

Can't Blame Jenkins for trying. If Belfry passes on him again, I would pack my stuff up and never look back.

Has Keathley interviewed? I always thought Thornsberry would get it simply because he’s a Belfry guy and has had success in jr high and knows the kids as well as having a son who is around 10 that is a good basketball player. I’d think he take the Belfry job over the Jenkins job. Belfry has a great middle school group and could run the region in a few years if the right hire is made and all those girls stay at Belfry. Wonder if Keathley is hired her dad is an assistant on staff?

Interesting deal ton of jobs open apparently I the school so I’m sure they could find Keathley a position teaching or not. Seems like the boys staff if being totally replaced too with bunch of jobs….interesting when a place has a ton of open spots there is usually a reason 
Jenkins would be a nice landing spot for him money wise they pay really well for their level of basketball

Belfry had to fill positions. Hurley was the only full time assistant. Thornsberry wasn’t able to be there full time and Charles quit after Rash left. Perry had a lot of things goes against him year 1. I still haven’t heard much on the girls job
